Edinburgh Home Extension - Scotland

This was the first project I photographed during my 3 week work marathon in May in Scotland and Iceland!

It is a really beautiful, bright and airy extension of an existing Edinburgh home. Konishi Gaffney Architects made a space that connects the inside with the outside fluently!

This building felt like a space from the future even though it was built in the 60s by australian architect John Andrews. The University of Toronto Scarborough Campus is one of Toronto's brutalist monolith structures.

I have to come back here. I wanted to move in!

Zen House - Toronto

"Zen House is a transformation of two interior spaces, using a neutral, consistent material palette throughout.  The new ground floor kitchen / living area and the new second floor master ensuite and adjacent dressing room are washed in natural light to create a quiet calm."

Icelandic Home with New Addition by Gláma Kím - Reykjavík

"An addition to a modest wooden house constructed in 1935.
The site governs a view of the City Park of Laugardalur and the city burroughs beyond.
The new addition was designed as a counterpoint to the original building, modern in articulation but respectful of scale and proportion." by icelandic architect firm Gláma Kím.
